Dennys Corporation, or Dennys, is one of Americas largest family-style restaurant chains. Dennys, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Dennys Holdings, Inc. and Dennys, Inc., owns and operates the Dennys restaurant brand. At December 26, 2007, the Dennys brand consisted of 1,546 restaurants, 1,152 (75%) of which were franchised licensed restaurants and 394 (25%) of which were company-owned and operated. These Dennys restaurants operated in 49 states, the District of Columbia, two U.S. territories and five foreign countries with concentrations in California (26% of total restaurants), Florida (10%) and Texas (10%).
